Experience

Joining Royal Virtue Posse in 2015 was a pivotal experience for me. I especially enjoyed seeing the impact of the Christmas party on children in an underserved community. Witnessing their joy reminded me of how powerful community engagement can be, and it inspired me to continue making a difference.  2019, I participated in an enrichment trip with the Royal Virtue Posse to the African American Museum in Washington, DC. That experience deepened my commitment to our work. Walking through the museum and seeing our history, resilience, and accomplishments displayed reminded me of the importance of creating opportunities for youth to connect with their heritage and feel proud of who they are. These experiences have shaped my approach to leadership, teaching me the value of presence and purpose and creating spaces where people feel seen and valued. They helped me develop a drive to give back meaningfully, knowing that even small acts can uplift and inspire the next generation.
